
I chose grade 12 French Language Arts since I have recently been working with a secondary French Immersion teacher on this course. We have been looking at both how to meaningfully connect to francophone and Indigenous texts as a way of exploring culture and identity, and I have suggested many digital resources that may help support this exploration. It was nice to think further as to other ways that technology could help modify the learning for students in this course.

Hi Madeleine – Great Venn diagram! I really liked the use of color and the background image was a nice touch. (I am curious about which program you chose.) It is fascinating to glimpse the world of French Language Arts 12, as I know nothing about high school, and nothing about French Immersion schools. I suspect I will have lots of questions, if that is ok. I am wondering about the TK section – what do you see there?

Hi Stacey. I used Canva for this one in the end as the Powerpoint was super frustrating and left no room for text. I wasn’t sure what to put for tech but now that I have seen what others wrote, I think it would be appropriate to add tech tools for language editing, knowledge of digital texts, etc.
